Headers are an absolute pain to put on this car. Longtubes + a proper tune are the only way to make this worth it. I won't do that on this car myself though, because DD and local emissions regs I'll face eventually.

These cars come with shorty headers from the factory. They require the same amount of work wether it be longtubes or shorties. So longtubes are the way to go but really aren't a great bang for your buck mod. But the sound alone is worth it to some.

Hey,

With either set up you're going to see noticeable sound increase, the big difference is in the power they create.

The shorty headers will pick you up a couple of extra horses, and certainly some noticeable sound. The biggest benefit of these is that they are the same overall dimensions as the factory manifold and will not require a new mid-pipe, while still seeing some power gains. As others pointed out these are still a difficult install, and have only minor affects on the power, but within a budget not a bad option.

The long tubes will deliver noticeable horsepower gains and dramatically changed tone sound from the exhaust. These have much greater benefits than the shorty headers, however their cost can be high. They generally are more expensive than the shorty header to start, they will require a new shorty mid-pipe, and they are even more difficult to install. However, if you can afford it, going for the long tubes is the better option.

Either way, I think you would be please with either one and you will definitely see benefits regardless. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out to myself or our customer service team. I hope this helps!
