Honestly, if you never intend to do a o/r pipe, I would save the money and just do an axleback. You're not gonna gain anything over the stock midpipe really, unless you take off the cats.

Definitely go 3" catback instead of just axle backs to get the highest bang for you buck.

It's really easy man! Loom up the instruction online & give it a shot..nothing like doing your own work IMO. Worst case scenario u can't do it & u take I to a shop to finish the job.

I wouldn't consider a catback bang for buck. I'd only get it if I'm trying to squeeze as much HP as I can!

I've always been a fan of Magnaflow mufflers. Bassani does have a really nice tone too. Although it's not as deep as the Magnaflow catbacks or axlebacks. It really depends what you're going for. Deep/grumble or sharper roar?

Good luck with your decision!

Shane

I got the quad tip 3" catback from magnaflow and I love it. it's quiet when im idling and gives a nice deep grumble at 2k rpm. then when I smash the pedal it screams. im very happy with it

Just a catback is going to give you very little power increase if any. Where the increase comes from is headers and an off road x or h pipe. If you want more power, do an o/r pipe, catback(for better sound) and tune. That'll give you about 30-40 hp.

We ran the Magnaflow Catback on this car until we went quad. It was a really good setup as you will be 3" from your mid pipe back. The Magnaflow cat back has a great sound and look

Yeah, the CORSA's my favorite.
The Bassanni sounds good to me because of its uniqueness.

Power gains with an axleback are minimum with any Mustang under 500-550HP. If both axlebacks were put up next to each other, I'm sure the gains would be very similar. Both should perform well in high power applications.

I would stick to what you think sounds the best. As power isn't really a matter for axlebacks.
