Help with horse power mods

I just picked up my new 2014 GT three weeks ago, and I'm thinking about doing some mods to bump up the hp. Here's what I'm thinking
Boss 302 manifold
BBK 90 mm tb
Airaide or jlt intake
Bama tuner
BBK long tube headers
BBK catted shorty x pipe
I already have axle backs done what do you guys think I should be around for hp at the crank and wheels. These seam to be mods a lot of gt owners do. Thanks for the help everybody. Here she is by the wayClick image for larger version

Great mod list! You're pretty much knocking out every bolt-on mod at once. It's a going to be a big transformation in your Mustangs attitude from stock. I'm sure you'll love it!

The only thing I would probably switch- use the 85mm BBK TB instead of the 90mm. The Boss 302 intake manifold doesn't have a huge inlet and the 85mm BBK tends to pick up a little more power N/A if your Boss inlet hasn't been ported. Other than that, the rest of the list looks perfect.

I would guess you'll put down 420-430rwhp on the dyno (DynoJet), assuming this car is a manual. The mid range to top end power power will be a LOT more violent than ever before. You'll be able to efficiently make power all the way up to 7300rpm!

Shane

I have heard allot both ways regarding the 302 intake. I have thought about this allot as well and am on the fence. Are there any real good numbers to look at regarding what the 302 intake or 90mm TB actually adds?

BTW if you have a manual I would go with a shifter kit as well. won't take long for you to notice the stock one sucks. I got Barton with bracket and made a HUGE difference.

Sorry I forgot to mention my car is a auto. Thanks Shane for the quick reply and the info on the throttle body. And Naples I too have heard all different things on the boss manifold but too me I love the way it makes the engine bay look so for the 500$ it worth it

Your list is missing suspension and a converter. I would skip the throttle body.

Definitely give Chris a call @ Circle D. That should be mod #1. Also, no offense to BAMA or anyone else, but Chris will give you a recommendation for a tune using their converters. I listened and am VERY happy I did.

I also went the LT direction, but I went JBA this time. I've used BBK before and their coating chipped off and discolored very quickly. I would look at the other choices out there, but that's me.

As stated above you are going to NEED suspension to hook once your mods are done. No doubt about it. Minimum, LCAs and UCA. If you want to drop it, then a PHB etc etc etc.

Good luck with the mods, the car will be a monster when you are done!

For an auto a boss 302 manifold is just a waste. The boss manifold trades low end for very top end and your auto might not even make it there to see the benefits. The stock one should be fine if not better on an auto. Instead put that money into suspension.
