The hellion single kit for the coyotes uses a y pipe that delletes the cats and hooks straight up to the catback

No cats, pulled a plug it looked fine but I've only put 50 miles or so on the car. Got the wot data log derby off so I should get a revised tune today. I'm not running the bap currently. It was putting out the right voltage at both ends, and the car is still running a bit rich but hopefully the tune will correct that.

Question

Question...
Is it a smell of rich or are your actually seeing puffs of greayish/ White smoke?
Is it even doing it after the cars is warmed up?
I was told our cars run a little rich when cold..... of course I was told this about my car I wrote about earlir. Anyway my 05 GT was puffing it all the time.
Also are you sure all plugs are firing evenly? ( did you change coils?)

Not to give to much info because I am a firm beliver in the KISS form of repair (Keep It Simple Stu&^d)
Lastly,, it could be a cracked Plug... Ive had that happen before too. It was a hairline crack..

Just differnt ideas..

No cats, new plugs all gapped right, it has a turbo kit, it's a cloud of black soot. It was running to rich. I took off the bap and that fixed it.

Crazy that you have been through all those builds. You track the car often?

The turbo car was a buddys of mine. Not mine personally. Went through hell and back with the hellion single. His is now twin turbo.

Mine is built motor. E85 and nitrous.
Will be swaping to twins or paxton soon on mine.

But yes mine was originally set up for a roll race car. Now its being redone for the track. Lake wood 70/ 30 struts. 50/50 shocks. Full BMR rear suspension. And 4.10's.

I was about to say haha. Doing some upgrades to my Paxton kit as soon as the parts come. Got some id1000s, BAP, JLT blow through, O/R X, and tuning by JPC coming. Hopefully all goes well.

Hell yea man. You will have fun then. I want to do the paxton. But i also just want to add another stage and spray a total of 400. Which would put me 850-900 for the track.

You still stock motor? My stock motor went at 611hp

Damn, you on crazy spray! Gotta pull like a bat outta hell! Yeah, stock motor, kinda scares me... Most research shows them doing ok 630 and under but that doesn't mean anything really haha. What went in yours, any reason, or just too much for her?

I love nitrous. Thats why im always changing my mind on nitrous or turbo etc.

But a 200 shot got the best of the stock motor. Ring glands on #2 and #4 went. you will be fine at low 600's though, i abused mine alot. Its was just a matter of time
