Side scoops

Has anyone successfully taken these off? Techniques? Tricks?

May I ask why your taking them off? Because I was thinking about getting some I just don't like how they stick on the paint

Well A clean body side for one, I am still thinking about it, they do look awesome to me sometimes. But in the end they are fake.

I'm afraid of screwing up the paint taking them off. I may just have the dealer do it.

A body shop will do a better job than a dealer for something like that

You can take them off with fishing line. That won't scratch the paint.

Fishing line works, but dental floss is safer. Fishing line can definitely scratch.

ahhh you have a much newer mustang then mine but even on my 2000 wish I could take them off.. choked that they would put fake scoops on the car!
Im going to replace mine with bullit ones as they fill the space but aren't a fake vent!... ugggh same with fake good scoop! whyyyy not make them functional or not at all...

I don't understand it, especially on a halo car, it looks really good sometimes and then I remember..fake.

Fishing line is all I've ever used and never scratched a car.

idk but even if they are "real" and let air flow they have no real function. I understand cooling but doubt it's needed.
