Mishimoto Air Diversion Plate

Hey everybody this is my first post and just wanted to kinda introduce myself and tell about my car. I figured i would post instead of stalk for once. Plus i just bought a mishimoto air diversion plate and thought i would give a little review of it as well. kill two camaro's with one stone thing.

First off i'm Greg from Tuscaloosa Alabama i have a 2012 black gt premium i bought it new in 2011. My first hard mod was the boss 302 splitter. I have gunmetal painted wheels blacked out fogs and side markers, h&r super sport springs (i bought from someone off here actually and that's why i'm now a member), Shaftmasters aluminum driveshaft, 4:10 gears, bama tune, Dynomax bullet catback exhaust, and finally mishimoto air diversion plate. I've ran a best of
7.86 @ 89mph in 8th mile at a decent track i think the car still had more but i'm not a professional and don't race that often

The Mishimoto plate is decent i only payed $57.00 for it shipped direct from mishimoto. the plate looks good too but it seems like a lot of loose ends, things could have been closed up better. It fit well and no problems there but it did seem like there was a little bow in the middle where the bolt holes were to close and it caused it to bend slightly. quality of material is decent. everything on it is super sharp so i wonder what they cut it with. Does it perform it's function? i doubt it the factory is closed off better, it may though. Also i thought it was kind of flimsy. i would recommend it if your factory one is broke or if you had a show car and wanted to dress it up. Also the shipping was poor my box was all beat up and it was bent in on the corner not bad though. I do like it very much so i'm not knocking it. But here's the numbers

Price 10/10
Function 3/10
Quality 6/10
Fitment 7/10
Looks 7/10
I recommend it only if you need to replace your factory or if you have a show car and just wanted to upgrade

I like the looks of the division plate! It's a nice alternative to the Boss chin splitter, at a cheap cost too. Nice write up and review.

Welcome to the forums too!
