3.73?

Are the 3.73 gears a part of the brembo package? My 12 GT has the Brembos and track wheels,im curious if having these means that the car has the 3.73's.Ive never driven another 5.0 and dont no anybody that does so i cant drive somebody that doesnt have them to compare versus mine.Basically my question is how do i know if i do or dont have 3.73 gears option?
Thanks guys

Look at your rear diff. There should be a label on there with what gears you have installed. You can also look at the vehicle info sticker in the driver side door jamb. Towards the bottom is an axle code. Match it up with this list to see what you have. http://stangu.com/2011-2012-2013-mustang-gt-axle-codes/

Door/frame sticker shows code for axle ratio as it was from the factory, google the two letter code it from there. 3.73 was a separate option for these cars.?

Brembo50.com this site has some good info...

No requirement for 3.73 with BBP. It was available with any gearset. The 3.73 was a separate option and is on the door tag or on a tag on the rear end itself. If the car is used, you can verify by raising rear and spinning the tire through a revolution, marking the driveshaft with a paint pen and watching the driveshaft turn. Counting the number of DS revs for each tire 360 will tell you the ratio.

Track Pack cars for 13+ have 3.73 standard.

Put your VIN in after the = sign and pull up your build sheet to see everything the car was built with:
