I'm not going to argue with people in here but I have a master mechanic that has done all my work impeccably and I stand by him 110% if you go cheap, then cheap you get what I mean with this yes it is advertised as a Bolt on but in order for it to be reaching the maximum optimum performance you must do other mods. Roush can go blow a ballon for all I care.

centrifugal superchargers don't have that "whine" noise on WOT like root type superchargers, right?

Nobody uses Roots-style on these cars. It's either twin screw, Lysholm-style or centrifugal.

ANd no, it won't sound like the screw blowers do if you use centri but, it will make a sound unique to itself. Youtube some videos and you'll get the idea.

If I can recall other posts I have seen I. Here there is threads with custom bam a tunes problems so what is your point ? I have already spent 40+k in mods to my vehicles noticed I said vehicles. So please do your research before claiming something that is not true !!! I don't deal with cheap stuff and when it comes to performance I get the best brand new and unused stuff so please if you want to put your two cents into this forum make it for constructive criticism purposes only!!!!

Well I'm a certified SCT tuner as well as another tuner for my company. No one called you a liar, I stated that it was untrue and this is why I asked what your experience was. No need to explain to me your reasoning and I could honestly care less on how much you've spent on your cars. I'm trying to dismay the bad information that you have just put out there about remote tuning. My research is pretty solid on the subject, not on how much money you've spent.

TVS is still a screw blower, though by strict definition of Roots, yeah, they still qualify as Roots-derived. The classic Roots most people mean, 4 and 6-71 style, with straight lobe rotors, is not used in this application.

you will not be disappointed if you do install a s/c. Ever since I had my Lightning, I did not want to go back to n/a. Good luck!

Your car has 2 belts, the second one is for your A/C. This is the one that turns the pulley on the supercharger. The other one turns your waterpump and alternator. So if you do break a belt with procharger or vortech your stranded,me no boost or a/c but i'll make it back home.
