Rear Brake Upgrades

I did a search and did not find much.

Looking for opinions on what people have done on the rear brake upgrades. I have the 2014 5.0 track pack and want to put bigger brakes on the rear to balance those big boys up front.

I do track this car occasionally. there are a few kits out there that just change over the size of the rotor but leave the caliper alone. for about 400.00 to 600.00.

anyone try this any issues?

The front brakes do 75% to 90% of the work when slowing down a car due to weight transfer. Upgrading the rear brakes probably isn't worth it. I assume you have the 4 piston Brembos up front. Going too big in the rear could cause the rear to lock up sooner than the front and swing the rear out. Just upgrade the pads all around if you're that concerned. There are Brembo kits out there to upgrade to 2 piston brakes in the rear if you really wish to do this.

you can do the gt500 rear brake upgrade, they're 2 piston and larger. ebay has OEM take offs fairly often, or AM has the full gt500 upgrade, 6 piston front as well, for about $1800.
