Tune and MPG

I wanted to see what others were experiencing. My set up is in Sig line. Since I did everything (exhaust CAI and tune) I have experienced the exact same MPG maybe a little less: 17.9 before 17.3 since. Now I KNOW part of it is that I reset right after i got and have had more fun now especially of a light change. Do most people experience a drop overall? An increase? I am almost all in town and rarely in the highway.

I've never gotten better mpg with either my bama or mpt tunes.. it stayed about the same as stock, however i drive a bit "spirited." I cant speak for the CAI. Honestly i think its a marketing thing, making people think the better MPG will justify the cost of the mod. I don't see a CAI gaining me 3mpg better..i just don't, hence the reason i don't have one yet. Although i do like the whistle on a fly by.

I was averaging about 15.6mpg before the tune. Now I have the off road x, Roush mufflers and putt around town with the 89 Performance tune from BAMA and I haven't dropped under 17mpg since. The only long highway trip I've taken was straight into a heavy Kansas wind both ways, so I don't have an accurate reading for highway but I would estimate around 25mpg. That trip I averaged 20mpg combined city/hwy.

With a MPT 93 Performance tune, JLT CAI, 90mm TB, Boss IM, Off Road X, 3" OA, to GT500 quads, M/T 3:73 rear end got 24.5 mpg hwy going back into the wind from Austin to Stillwater last Saturday. That is driving 70-80+mph. City driving is not representative because of the lead-foot syndrome the car makes the driver experience. M/T 3:73 rear end

Stock I got about 19.0 to 18.5, with my Steeda tune if I drive with MPG in mind (and I really have to try hard), I can manage to get 19-18. But with my tune, it's just too hard to not drive spirited so my average is 16.5.

Although... What is a bummer, is that stock I could manage 30.0 MPG highway, now I can only get about 26 MPG.
