Had a busy weekend the past three days. Take note I'm really not that mechanically inclined when dealing with cars. To start off I took off all of the stock exhaust piping from the headers to the axle backs. Had to cut the OTA pipes cause i didn't have enough clearance with just ramps and jack stands. I installed JEGS cat deletes and their high flow pipes which also gets rid of the resonators and is an H pipe. This took several hours.
I then installed Steedas CAI which only took 15 minutes.
Finally, I uploaded the tune from Steeda and started it up with no problems.
Holy loud. Haha. I went for a drive and already had people looking, but there was clunking and extra bouncing coming from the rear when going over bumps. I went back home and found the source. Moved the OTA pipes around a little which significantly removed the clunking. Only happens now over large bumps.
The tune seemed to stutter the engine on the first drive when stepping on the throttle, but on the second drive seemed fine.
I will be checking it all on Wednesday to make sure everything is tight and in place.
