All my badges are Plasti-dipped matte black. I did about 7-8 light coats, 9 Mo later, I think they are maybe fading a bit but still 100% intact.

Meh. One costs about $8 at HD and the other costs about $30 and waiting for shipping. Mine are dipped but need redoing because I was rushed and it was about 20 degrees outside.

I had bought one from Late Model Restoration just to see how it was. I thought, this looks kinda cheap and flexed it a little to see if it was plastic or metal - and it immediately snapped in half. Can't believe I wasted $15 on a cheap piece of plastic with a terrible finish. Never again.

Well the stock ones are plastic. I have the ones from late model. They are exact replicas of the stick ones just black. Look perfect. Why in the hell would you bend it? Its plastic of course it will break...........................👏

Yup, my mistake for bending it... but then I'm an engineer and work with PC/ABS type plastic parts all the time and for some reason the one I receive was just brittle (maybe a molding flaw due to a process issue like improper cycle time in the tool). Anyhow, it definitely looked of a plastic finish (so I didn't really care that is snapped, I wasn't going to but that on my car). I'm thinking I can get a better look just by popping off the original emblems and painting it myself.
