Rear Strut bar??

Has anyone ever heard of a rear strut bar or rear tower bar?
Have you used it? it is suppose to be a bar like the one under the hood, but for the rear. I know its not a rear sway bar.

That one does say not compatible with convertibles. I have a convertible, but don't have a brace.

Steeda also makes an X brace that ties to the shock towers and frame against the back seat, but once again, not convertibles.

Thanks for the info..

I also found one for Shelby.. It doesnt state Coupe only.
I looked and the Instractions and it states you bolt it down but you CAN have it welded in..
So as for the other issue of Weld or not .. This one shows either..

Sorry for the fat finger spelling on last post.

Any one know of any company that sells the rear tower brake for a Convert.?
Shelby is 149.99 painted. I am looking at one near me on Ebay right now used.
Its almost up to the new price and the guy tells everyone the real price..
Je Wizz!!

I have a feeling that one of those bars might create imaginary gains more than anything else.

I read an article or thread where it was explained that these rear shock tower bars wouldn't do much of anything on this chassis
