Windshield lines

I have a 2014 GT Premium convert and have recently noticed tiny lines in the windshield when the sun hits it just right. Normally I see nothing day or night. Headlights from oncoming cars have no effect. But during the day, early morning through say 2 pm, I can see these small lines. They look like scratches about 1/2 to 1 inch long all over the windshield. Anyone experience anything like this before? Really strange.
