You need to add "FOR NOW" to the end of your title...
Car looks great

The mods will resume when my wife gets tired of driving it and it officially becomes my hotrod. I dont expect that to happen for some time.

That thing looks great. The before picture was kind of hilarious, looked like a 4 X 4 until I enlarged the picture. I think its the way the shade blended the tires and inner fender together. lol

For how we run the car, the tires are good enough. They actually are pretty sticky.

Not particularly, but when I think of tires for a performance vehicle, the word "Sumitomo" doesn't come to mind. I'm fairly certain most people can agree that TOYO, Mickey Thompson, Nitto, and Michelin are at the top of the list. I did research on all of the tires AM offered before purchasing and came across threads on various performance car forums giving horrible reviews of Sumitomos. Things like thin sidewalls, laughable traction, blowouts after a few months, etc. Could have just been a few bad batches of tires, but it was enough to turn me off from them.

But hey if they're working for you, 2014GTCS, awesome.

Allow me a minute to jump on my soapbox. I am part of a few forums and I find it laughable that when a member in need of info or excited to share his / her auto, is belittled or told the choices they made are bad.
Look, if someone is asking for your opinion, they will ask. If someone is sharing their wares, keep your negative opinions to your self. If you don't like someones car or choices, dont reply...its that simple.
Ok, jumped off my box. No hard feelings.

Ya if they were such a bad tire they wouldn't be on AM genius I run them as well I have no need for the best and greatest tire and to be honest I wouldn't tell difference between my 275 and some other 275 tire of same type . So in less words your a douchbag

I apologize for my poor phrasing. I should have asked why you chose Sumitomos as opposed to other brands that seem to be more popular around here. You explained that they work for what you're doing and that's perfectly fine. I wasn't being sarcastic when I said "awesome". My second post was simply explaining my reason for asking.

No need to make this a personal attack.
