I think thats an answer you can best answer yourself, compare the roadrunner specs vs the coyote specs. The roadrunner was intentionally built to be happier in that rpm range with its own specs, like the camshaft profiles and beefier bottom end, vs the coyote with its 7000 rpm limit. Many have survived, but are you willing to risk the higher limits required beyond the coyote's limits?

Said best^^

Any mod performed should be for a reason. The Boss IM was designed to work for high RPM. Isn't the Boss internals "beefier" than the standard 5.0?

Seems Rapinator126 is trying to tell you something. If you don't plan to do anything to the internals of your stock 5.0 after a Boss IM install (and then use it's newfound RPM range power), then be careful.
