MGW installed

Just installed it Saturday morning (yesterday) and I got to say wow this is an amazing shifter.Night and day difference versus the stock shifter, the throws are nice an short, easy to get in gear and very responsive. You can't miss a shift it's that easy I'm incredibly pleased. All the sloppiness from the stock is gone,it's nice and tight every shift feels sturdy.Basically I love it and worth every $$,I would recommend this to anyone with a manual it's really that awesome .Just thought I'd share my experience with it so far and glad to be another proud customer of this amazing product.

MGW installed

It's a must on these cars. The stock shifter is garbage. I had Ford do the install

The install was pretty straight forward, and buddy and me literally followed the step by step guide from their website and everything went smooth.Took a couple hours but not to complex.

Big blue, you made a great choice with the MgW shifter. My buddy and I threw it on my 12' 5.0 and like the others say, the difference is night and day. No more worrying about missing 2nd to 3rd gear.

I feel like my stock shifter shifts good but it does make a lot of noise. Does the mgw make the clunking noise like the stock does? I am really thinking hard on getting one of these. Did you use ramps to do the install?

My MGW make absolutely no noise, they kit comes so much sound deadening it's awesome. The old models were apparently very loud but this new model has been revamped and it's nice and quiet.Actually I had access to a lift,I imagine you could do it with just jack stands but it will definitely make it more challenging.

The new MGW shifter is not as loud as the stock shifter. I bought some dynamat from the store(bestbuy) to help out with noise and vibration. We actually installed it using floor jacks and the installation was not bad at all, took us around 1.5 hrs.
