Mods on my 14 gt

Okay so ive had my mustang for about 5 months already and i want to know what mod should i do next. I need opinions. So far i lowered it, added 20" fr500 wheels, jlt cai, pypes o/r x pipe, ford racing sport axlebacks, and currently running a bama 93r tune. Im thinking of a boss intake or gears. Oh and by the way its an automatic. Wife wanted to drive it too. Lol.

I'd go with gears myself, seems like your supporting mods will like them a lot. Have you done your upper/lower control arms yet?

I wouldn't know about autos but have heard ppl love the 4.10's after they get them in.

Rapinator has an auto and quite a bit more aggressive build but maybe he has suggestions, 1 piece driveshaft maybe?

I actually have a manual right now, plans for a auto once I send the manual in a 100 pieces.

As far as mods, go with a different tune, gears, stall, suspension, and 1 piece driveshaft and a bottle 👍

No point in running twins on a stock motor. Invest in going forged. The stock coyote motor is not impressive. The stock rods and pistons will make you laugh.

What exactly does a stall do? I saw one online. Seems interesting.

Basic explanation is. Say its a 3800 stall this is where your car will grab at. ( hot brake it and tires will spin at 3800)

Thanks for your help Rapinator126. By any chance you know where i can look for a good stall? I looked on american muscle and latemodel. What other places can i look? I think im going with a stall and gears with my next mod. Then maybe after a boss intake.

Can't go wrong with the boss intake and like you've said forged internals.. I would def grab at least 3.73's and would be nice to pair that with the stall.. u could always put a nice hood on it, and the always necessary MGW shifter! Enjoy and nice stang!

Wrong on the 3.73's. He's car will be no faster with those gears. It's been proven time and time again.

I'd move onto a new stall converter for more speed as well. I didn't see any mention of what tires you're running though? Traction is going to be an issue without at least a drag radial on those 20's. I'd consider a rear set of 15" drag rims for the track too, if you want to really hook up and leave street tires on the FR500's.

What's your goals for the drag strip? Or are you just looking to be quicker on the street?

Now im thinking of just doing full bolt ons and a bottle for power adder. I found a 93 lightning i like and i would rather have a built lightning. Im thinking of buying the circle d convertor, and gears today since i already had some $ saved for the twins.

Why wont it be faster? sorry I'm curious because I have heard different things in regards to the gears on automatics. I have a 3.7l automatic and was planning on adding gears as my next mod. I wont see any change in performance? thanks.

I have no idea on the V6 but I do know the fastest N/A autos are using 3.31's. Some have tried more gear only to see no positive results.

Why are the upper and lower control arms such a big deal on these cars?
This is like the 6th post I've seen for people doing control arms!
Thanks for the explanation guys.
