Also, if you have them and did the install yourself, how hard was it.

I like the red halos, and that they fit in the stock headlight.

I would think red would be illegal to actually use on the street.

I'm not sure, but that does make sense. I've seen blue, purple and orange ones before, and I have seen red in pictures, but not on the streets.

Oracle is amazing. You can get ones that have different colors to them. And they are an add on to your headlights, they don't replace them. So you can still run stock lights and then flip these on for the cool effect, they have color shift ones that can go between any color on the spectrum. Do some research on their stuff. You can find some awesome lights.

I saw that on the site, they tap into the parking lights, and fit onto the stock headlights. Only thing I have a question about, I have no idea if these would be DRL's like the LED bars, or if they would only be on when the car is started or in park.

You can run them different ways if you know how. They are not designed as actual headlights though, they are just an appearance mod.

Yeah, I would think blue would be illegal for sure as that is another color used by police, probably purple because it is not DOT approved. I would think orange might be alright as long as they don't flash as some cars do have factory orange parking lights, but even still, I would verify that before getting them since it wasn't factory on your car to start.

So these would still be legal? Even in red?

I'm going to check, I like these, and my parents won't let me smoke the headlights, so this is really the only mod I might be able to do.

I don't know about your state. But most states they are alright to use however when you are parked. So its something that would be good for a night time car meet. Thats actually where i've seen them before.

That's what I would think. I just don't know if they shut off when the car is in drive, or if it's an additional switch.

It all depends on how you wire it in.

On the site it says they wire into the parking lights, so I think I'll be fine, even if it is in red.

I don't think you are going to be able to have red lights illuminated on the front of your car while operating on the street. First, you could appear as a cop while behind someone, and secondly, someone coming towards you could see the red and think it is the back end of your car and not the front of a car coming towards them. Just my thoughts...

If it's questionable, it's just another thing to get pulled over for and then bothered about other things.

Use them when you are parked... They don't drain much battery at all so if you go to a store flip them on once you go in, car shows, car meets, after school when you are in the parking lot before you leave, ect.........

I would love to put some red and blue lights inside the grill of my GT just so I can turn them on when a Prius is driving 65mph on the left lane lol

well that would be up to you, wire them to work how you please, if you have a 13-14 I'd have them mimic the drl bars

As far as I know it's illegal just about everywhere to run any forward facing lights in any color other than white and amber from what I've found. It's just like my lights.. It's for show only.

I had them I had red its not illegal here just can't have flashing red or blue. I installed myself it was a ***** I felt weird putting my headlights in my oven to soften the seal then resealing was a pain I had to remove one headlight after I woke up the next morning with moisture and water in my head light i finally got it corrected. If I do it again I will send to oracle and let them do it.
