rough idle

Just installed American racing headers, 1 7/8 long tube and threw on a preloaded tune. Car keeps idling rough and running rough while driving. Keeps acting like it's stalling out, any ideas what it might be?

What tune do you have on there? The tune may need to be adjusted.

It's just one from cj pony it was doing it before I added the tune, drove about 500 kms before putting the tune on to see if it would make a difference and still doing it with a tune

Those preloaded tunes aren't safe. Get custom tunes from a performance shop/company such as Bama/Steeda/MPT/AED/Lund.

That's your problem.

Was it idling rough pre-long tubes?

You must need a tune for those long tubes then. The fact that it took 500 KM for a problem to occur doesn't sound like anything out of the ordinary.

Yeah well the pre loaded tune is just a conservative one for the headers etc I ordered both sct 4 tuner and headers from them and they got all the info on my car for it

Oh well I don't know what else to say, you got me beat. Maybe talk to your tuner next if you haven't already?
