Talk to JimC, I believe he put his supercharger on around those miles, then ran it over 200k miles.

As long as to maintain your engine properly it will last a long time.

My thought is that the newer cars are being built to go well over 100k and if taken care of they should last into the 200k. When I put the SC on it won't be seeing the track. It will be there for when ever I get that itch to floor it and blow a few doors off. I've always wanted a sleeper.

Who is Justin and what is VMP?

Fack , I had 200,000 on my last pushrod 5.0 when I added a supercharger and, it had already been variously twin turnoff and had nitrous shot through it for years at the track. I sold the car running and driving as well as ever and nothing ever broke but clutches, tires and a few sets of squeezed head gaskets. So, I'd say no.

A bad tune can kill any engine though. Make sure you work with reputable vendors and tuners.
