New 2014 5.0

Hey guys, I've not made a post on here before, so this is my first. Here's my new 5.0! I just picked it up today, and she's brand new! I'm only 16, so I feel pretty damn lucky for having this.Click image for larger version

Congrats and welcome to the zoo kid. Your gonna get some hate from people on the forum about having a new mustang let alone a 5.0 and being only 16 so pay no attention to them. Congrats on your new beautiful ride and drive responsible. That's a lot of power for a fairly new driver so be careful but enjoy bro.

Can't blame you for the love. What's not to love about a 420 HP beast. Lol

I'll be buying rims in a few days, and I plan on tinting the windows and getting louvers. Nothing too crazy.. Yet

That's a lot of power for a youngsetr lol, no but seriously don't kill yourself by showing off. You should drfinatly invest in the ford racing axle backs on americanmuscle.com, they are the best sounding mufflers in my OP with cats. Also a airaid cold air intake and a bamba tune are all great places to start with proformance mods for the cyote motor. It is expensive but worth it! But do the Ford racing axlebacks I promise you will not regret it.[ATTACH]

Thanks for the advice! I'll check all of that out. It is a lot of power, but I'm really not one to abuse it too much haha

My parents are both deceased. Can you ask your parents if the would like to adopt me? I have a V6 and need a little money for some engine work.

Your New Older Brother,

Broke One.

PSS. Tell mom and dad to hurry up and send the money. I got the insurance and payments covered.

I really recommend that before you start looking for power modifications, start with suspension and handling. You need to get use to rear wheel drive (if its your first time), know your car its limits your limits before looking more power.

lowering you car and some panhard bar & strut bar are good to start with. also some good tires (at least for the rear). just my 2 cents. have fun brotha

Just respect it, 420 HP, RWD, and a live axle is a pure beast. It's fairly easy to lose control of it for anyone, especially new drivers.

New 2014 5.0

Congrats on the new car. Id look into some exterior mods. The 5.0 is already an awesome platform, no need to start upgrading it until you take it to the drag strip and autocross to see what it can actually do.

I HIGHLY recommend autocross, you really learn so much about your car there.

Congratulations! Take care of it even if you didn't buy it yourself. Nice color. When I was 16 I didn't even know how to drive yet.
