I recently had this issue with my 2014 GT mustang. Every time i decelerate ,whether i have the brake on or off, and speedometer gets to 10 the front of my car makes a clunking sound and this stops the car slightly. Anyone have this happen to them or know the problem?
Are you sure it is in the front end of the car? I Had the same problem coming from the rear end of the car. Had the breaks check too.
Have the breaks checks first and then the bushing upper ones and the suspension also.
Are you sure is 10mph and not closer to 2 when this happens?
The auto cars stay in 2nd gear all the way up to almost complete stop, then a clunk and you can feel the car "sort of move forward but then stop like a rope is holding it back" as the trans shifts into the 1st gear. This is to provide better emissions on coast down by leaving it in 2nd until a complete stop. (Ive seen it on my previous 2013 auto stay in 3rd once till stopped then shift in 1st) And with the Bama tune I had in that auto it still happened.
Also the drive train has lots of slack, and its normal. Look this up on both V6 and V8 tech forums. The MT82 has even more slack then the auto.
