Throttle Body Upgrade Question

Will a BBK throttle body upgrade change the sound of a GT?

I'm going to pick up a tuner, but was thinking about doing the throttle body at the same time, but I have the sound just how I want it and don't want to screw it up and want to check if it will affect it.

It's gonna give a slight whistle and the sound of more air flow the tune will give you more gains if paired with the TB.

From what I've seen, bigger throttle body doesn't do much for the coyote except make tuning harder unless it's supporting some serious mods like a full NA build or FI.

That's about what I've heard, too. I'd put money into other parts before I did a throttlebody...unless I was looking to do a nitrous setup that would need a it's own spacer.

Might just stick with the tune for now. Not gonna go that deep into performance, just want to see what easy things could be done to give it some more power.

Thanks for the input!

Like the others have said, unless you are going for a big build, a new TB is not worth it. Just a waste of money for something with little to no gains to be had on a basically stock motor.
