Ok after watching hundreds of videos just to decide what exhaust I wanted to get for the mustang I am now stuck between catback and axelback. I am all most 100% sure I want the Borla S-type. I can't seem to decide between the two different set ups. Is it really worth the extra money for the catback setup? Is there really a huge sound difference between them, I can't really tell from online videos.
Catback gives a slightly fuller and deeper sound. Some will argue that it doesn't but you can check and compare same system (ab vs cb) and hear a deeper fuller sound.
I agree. After listening to more sound clips For what is it is worth. There is not enough to justify when other things can be done. After talking to some friends and reading the replies here I did decided on the axelback S-type. Just ordered them now. Thanks all.
I have the S-Type axlebacks and get compliments on them all the time, and heads definitely turn when I accelerate. It's not annoying while cruising.
They were easy to install, just put jack stands on the rear axle and removed the hangars.
Cold starts are a little loud, but I haven't gotten any complaints from neighbors yet.
