My Dyno Tune results

Ok first off it is running great and the power band is very smooth and I'm very happy with how it is now running. I will get my chart posted shortly but here are my results with below mods. 397rwhp, 375tq.

The shop said with similar mods they have seen rwhp results anywhere from 365 - 412.

Side question:
what is the % of hp loss from flywheel to rear wheels? Ive seen 15%-20% in different places on the net. Is that % correct with 2011+ mustang GTs?

My understanding is that the manufacture states flywheel hp(420hp) so with my results it seems that ford understates the hp by 30-50hp. Am I way off with this?

Oh ok. As far as mods go: steeda springs, koni shocks/struts, bmr lca/relo bracket, Sr panhard, Whiteline support, mm caster plate, airaid cai. But I doubt any of that has given me significant hp gains if any. Most of the hp gains came from the tune. Wish I would have asked for pre-tune dyno numbers..... Oh well.

As far as general numbers go then maybe they should have been higher, but the number is to be taken with an asterisk because without a before dyno, it could be high or low. A lot of stock cars pull these numbers so let say your car dynoed 370 stock then 390 after long tubes and intake + tune then that would be great numbers. If your car stock dynoed 385-390 stock then no the numbers are not that great. If your car dynos 340 stock then the numbers are also awesome, get what I mean?

What gear was the dyno done in?

My 14 just dyno'd @ 585. ( 14 May 2014 ).....( DynoJet, SAE J1349 corrections )
If you use the factory ( crank ) hp #'s ( 662 ), that would mean I lost 11.7 % to the drivetrain.
.
Your dyno should have been done in 4th gear. ( 1 to 1 )
Most shops will run a baseline before tuning..

Your numbers look pretty good, but similar mods getting 365 rwhp after tune can't possibly be right.

I was thinking the same about 365. The shop said most of the lower numbers are coming from the boss lol

Ya never know, that panhard rod may have just been the ticket to push you over 390.
