Awesome setup I wish I would have gotten the black or polished the first time around. I have almost the exact same setup except mine is the paxton. I have the same BOV and grille as well. I'm curious to what your log looks like would you be able to share it? You can take a look at mine as well. It did 657/483 on a dynojet.

Here is our dyno sheet. I have about 8 data logs saved. Quite a few 2500-7200 WOT pulls
I have no problem sharing them.

Wow! I'm saving my pennies for the same setup. Do you still have your stock oil pump gears.

Stock OPG right now, but have a set in my garage ready to install. I wish I had done it when we did the Vortech, but I was not sure about the install. I have read enough and seen enough detailed installs that it is not that hard, just a lot of work. The Vortech is easier to dismantle now that I can take sections apart instead of individual pieces. We are going to do the OPG probably Thanksgiving break. It is running great. We installed a torque booster setup last month and it is a beast. Just not spinning it over 7200 and not racing it until we do the OPG install.
Here she is now.

Ya I know I should do the oil pump gear.... I think it's alittle past my comfort level.
Which sucks cause everyone had quoted me around a grand for install.

Oh well better that then a new motor.

Awesome, awesome write up! And amazing looking car!! Very cool experience to have shared with your son.. Did my Paxton install a few months ago, also went through Terry Reeves and Jon Lund II.. Awesome guys to deal with, very helpful.
I'm wondering if you did the oil pump gears yet? And how long it took you? I haven't really read much about it, but how likely or more yet, how often are these gears actually failing for guys/gals at lower boost levels?

If you are only looking for 600-700 the vortech will be alot better option.

The car is driven daily and runs great. Super smooth idle and not too torquey to drive in bad weather. Still super pleased with the setup. The timing is low enough and the AFR looks good from idle to WOT so feeling pretty safe with the setup. Will still install the OPG when we have some time. Next in que and ready to install is full OEM sync & integrated ipad mini setup that controls the stereo, as well as runs the Dash Command App for real time diagnostics. Having an all carbon fiber radio bezel and console, I got an unfinished ipad magnetic mount and built a carbon fiber face. It is going to look sweet once installed. The iPad will be connected via WiFi to the OBDII port for DashCommand and it will be connected via Bluetooth to the Sync for Music and Navigation. The phone will connect via USB port in the console for handsfree calls and voice text. The ipad and the carbon fiber holder removes completely with one hand and there are no hard wire connections to the dash at all.
Here is what it will look like installed. I have everything needed for the install.

Been really happy with this setup. Being a daily driver, it is a low maintenance and good performing setup. Finished the tablet mod and need to post some vids of it in action. It is another cool custom addition. I ended up making my own design for the gauging on the DashCommand app that matches the cars gauges and even has a carbon fiber background. Next on the car is custom carbon fiber work that I am doing myself. Already have a CF lower grill delete to install, my custom CF Vortech intake that I built and I just started making a CF Boss front grill that the fog light housings and the grill surround piece will all be carbon fiber.

you have the best of both world, a nice balance between power and driveability. My GT is also my DD, so I need it to last, but want that extra kick in the keister whenever I need.

I feel superchargers are best for this, and seems like the package at beefcake is a great starting point.

Please post the pics of the Tablet mod. I was debating it, and your pics might be the push I need to take the plunge. Loving the build, that's one sick car.
