abram2001, exactly why went this route. Dont 1/4 the car but occasional road track and a LOT of fun if you get challenged on the road.
Here is the screen I built for this car, but if someone want it with their own badging, I can do you one you can download for free:
Here is the base font/color and badging I designed:
Boost / Vacuum reads in psi on the tablet when running, don't know why when I print the example it reads metric.

Here is an example of badging I can change if someon just wants Mustang badging:

I will post some video of it working in the car if I can download it off my phone.

Here is a link of the Dash Board I designed. If someone wants a different background or badging, I can change it and upload it on this site. When you buy the Dash Command App, ($9.99) you can go into settings and download any dashboard from this site.
http://www.dashxl.net/dashboard.php?dashboard=1058

If you just want to try it out, this also works on smart phones. I can run this exact app and at the same time on my phone as the tablet in the car. Only thing you need besides the Dash Command App is a OBDII wifi or bluetooth. Apple is wifi, so I use this one I bought off ebay. There is very little lag at ALL on the data with this ODDII

Sorry to bump this old thread hno: but I'm looking into going with this kit pretty soon. What wastegate did you go with? and do you know of a torque booster that works with an Auto?

Waste gate with a x psi spring is a torque booster in itself. It doesn't matter what transmission you have.

Thanks man. One last question, will I need to purchase gauges (outside of a boost gauge) or are the readings on the dash sufficient enough?

Its totally up to you man, personal choice. Are you going to have a tablet mounted in your car for good? IMO just get a set of 3 gauges - boost, AFR, and oil pressure/cylinder head temperature or your choice, have them placed on your dash. Just below the rear view mirror, it would look really nice.

He did a second revision and sent it and my son is downloading it as we speak. We will do a couple more logs and send them to Jon to see if he wants to tweak anything else before he calls it good.
The car drives like stock right now not in boost. Idles great, very smooth with normal driving, but above 3500 rpms, it is a different car now. I think it will probably dyno right in our target range with the mods we have. I have a couple cars that we know of with our same mods that make the power we are looking at. One difference is we run a 90mm TB as they run the stock TB, so we can compare after we put this car on some rollers.
I would note: remote tuning with Lund Racing is awesome. It was part of the deal with Team Beefcake Racing where we bought the Supercharger. We sat it up on his site and it has been the easiest way to work things on tuning a car. Within minutes of our logs being downloaded, we get responses. Revisions are a breeze and it can all be done in your driveway. I can't imagine the car getting better than with the first revision we had, but we will see. So far, I can't say enough about the experience we have had with dealing with both Terry Reeves @ Beefcake Racing and Jon Lund II @ Lund Racing.

Wish I could say the same with the Lund tune responsiveness. It is taking absolutely forever to get responses.

Let me start by saying I think your car is my favorite build on this forum! lol But anyways, I have been thinking about going the tablet navigation route and I really like your setup but I was wondering how do you get the tablet to read boost in your car? From what I understand the standard 5.0 doesn't have any kind of boost/vacuum sensors or readings from the factory. With gauges you have to do a tap into a vacuum line to acquire that reading but I'm not sure how you went about it here? Sorry to revive an older thread

Bc the head unit is a lot more efficient at the 600 hp range vs the Paxton. Paxton is a bigger blower so shines the more power it makes

Crank hp or rwhp? Most seem to make around 650 rwhp on a banger or, 700 on corn.

Hello sir, question. ..are you still running the Vortech? How'd the 3.73's act with them? I'm being told I should change them but i like the torque feel. What about at boost?

As far as sequencing, what would you change from the instructions?

I'm looking at going a similar route that you did. I was looking at a turbo at first but the driving behavior reported from the Vortech is of value to me.

Thank you in advance,
Slim
