Pypes off road H-pipe (cat deletes) and Pype bomb muffler deletes. Why does everyone like X-pipes when H sound SSSOOO much better. There is no real difference in performance. X is better higher RPM H better lower. Here is a link to my 2013 GT with this set up.

Sounds like you have your head in the right place, getting rid of the restrictive cats will certainly get you some added sound and power, so you really cannot go wrong either way.

If it was my car, I would go with the Pypes system only because their system is stainless steel rather than aluminized steel. The stainless steel would be the better option, because it is more rust resistant and it will dissipate the heat better than aluminized steel. Other than these points, they are pretty close, they will have a similar sound and similar horsepower pickups.

I hope this information helps, and if you have any questions, feel free to get back in touch. Best of luck!

Correction. You have an SCT tuner with a Bama tune on it.

If you have the tuner, you should be enrolled in the free tunes for life program. Essentially all you need to do here is get in touch with Bama to get a new tune order set up. Bama will update the tune to reflect the new mid pipe without the cats and email it out to you. Once you install the midpipe, you will download the tune from your email to the tuner and then to the car. Once the tune is on the car you shouldn't have to worry about a check engine light from the lack of cats.

I hope this information helps and if you have any questions feel free to get back in touch with myself or the Bama team listed below my signature. Best of luck!
