Whiteline Transmission Mount Bushing insert????

I've read the reviews on AM but has anyone here tried it out. For $35 I ordered it to give it a go.

I cut the tab half off and noticed no noise at all. Fells a lot firmer when shifting

Ok so you simply cut it in half? Interesting

I've seen people cut the middle tab entirely off & some 1/3 or 1/2 & I've also seen people cut a circle out & they all seem to work the same!

Yes I read all the reviews about cutting it in half, cutting a hole and cutting it all the way off. Some people say no nvh at all and they didn't cut any thing. So I didn't want to have to redo it it so I cut my tab half off and put it in. I notice no nvh at all with it done that way. But I think every ones car may be a little different. IMO

Some dude put it in then tried it out then took it out & cut a small piece then keep doing the same thing till he was happy but that sounds like too much work for me! Haha.

What Rapinator said. I have poly motor mounts and the Whiteline bushing and no NVH. The tongue is what helps keep the bushing in place. I know many have modified theirs, but I personally wouldn't recommend it.

I installed mine and it was fine for higher speeds but when the vehicle is running 10-15mph creeping through a parking lot there is alot of pops and creaks and every noise when changing gears. It seems now that most of those noises are either settled or I am used to them. I would not take it out or cut it but it was noisey for me at first.

I cut a 2" hole in mine and hardly notice any NVH.

I installed mine and had the same significant increase in NVH. It seemed like it got a little better and I got more used to it after about a week, but I still decided to drill a 1 3/4 inch hole in it and reinstall. All of the increased NVH is now gone and no change in the performance from prior to the modification. With the Barton 2 post bracket, the clutch line upgrade, and the Whiteline bushing with Royal Purple fluid, the tranny is like a rock now... Huge improvement!!
