Talking I finally did it

I purchased several new vehicles over the years from tahoes to chargers rt .. One of the latest was a challenger srt8 m6 392.. it was sweet. But I never bought a new ford. But with current incentives I couldn't pass up the opportunity.so I bought a 2014 Mustang GT base.
Current mods I've put on it since purchase.
Dual JLT catch cans.
Fuel locking cap
Painted coil covers and plenum
Red led lights interior
Illuminated door sill plates
Led license plate light
sub and amp
One touch turn signal

It's an automatic and have driven just over 500 miles and so far very happy with this car. My first fuel up I averaged 21.5 with 50/50 mix.. gonna take it on vacation this year to Texas and Florida..

I ordered the VCM and I really want a premium or boss cluster as my next upgrade.. I've been really watching deerslayer since he has done this.. I could use some advice as to how to do the PATS with the VCM once I get everything..
Thx guys. I'm happy to be here
I'll post pics...

Nice car. I took my 14 base GT with the automatic on vacation to TX last year and it was nice having a car with this much power running down the interstate. Enjoy it.

Premium clusters are easy to install in any 13 or 14. Once you get a cluster and a wheel cruise switch, if you are in TX, I can help you with the install.

No I haven't but I wouldn't mind having one in mine. I may try to find one and get it installed at some point. I'm in southwest MO and go down to TX on vacation quite a bit so I may hit Deerslayer up.

How does the stang compare to your Challenger power/performance wise?

well the challenger was a srt 8. It had the 6.4l 392 hemi. 470 hp 470 ft lbs 6 speed manual.
It would definately get the adrenaline pumping... I loved the room it had in the interior and the bigger trunk size. The brembo brakes were amazing.. but it seemed like every car that drove by me would try to instigate a race.. and it was too much fun to say no... I don't like the summer tires and didn't know about that until after I bought it.. One thing I made sure this stang didn't have... .... Overall one sweet car. If it would have been an automatic I probably would have kept it. But I just new I was gonna snap an axle or tranny and would cost my a** so I sold it.. but I will say I love my first ford I've ever owned.. I'm confident it won't be the last.
