2011 GT
length 188.1
width 73.9
3,533 lb

2000 GT

464 pounds difference
These two cars are very similar in size on paper but
to my eye the 2011 GT or that era of Mustang seems
to be much larger!...
Has any one went from a new edge to a 2011 or newer car?
does it feel like a much bigger car?

It doesn't feel "big" like a Camaro or a Challenger but, it is a relatively big car. Hell on my Fox, I could reach over and open the passenger door without leaning. Cars are big/heavy because of safety and what people expect to be in them n terms of luxury and conveniences. The suspension is better on the newer car, taking away some of the ponderous nature of the New Edge car, which makes it feel more agile.

Your 2011 is a slick tire and mild tune away from 11 sec 1/4s so, other things are a lot better too.
