Idle Relearn

As I have read there has been some question as to does this really have an impact and after an extensive test YES it does. My buddy bought the same axle backs as I did Roush set, he had his installed and got the car off the rack and drove on down the road, after some time (day or so ) he noticed his idle bouncing not much but anywhere from 100 to 400 rpm, when I had my axlebacks installed I disconnected the battery for negative side for 30 min and started car and let it idle for 10 minutes then turned on AC for about five minutes then drove it at 45 55 65 80 90 110 and had several stops at idle and did not see what he saw. he recently did an Idle relearn as I had done and now same result no bouncing idle is smooth car runs as it did before just wanted to share if anyone had doubts. I do not claim to be an expert in this subject matter I am only recording my experience and results.

I doubt just changing mufflers will have any external effects to the idle.

Agreed with Comstall. Changing your axle backs shouldn't have any affect on idle performance.

I agree I am not stating that it was the cause just sharing an experience I choose to do the relearn from reading forums it may have been a coincidence I was just sharing what happened.
