What should I get next?

I have a 2013 gt with o/r magnaflow tru x, slp muffler deletes, steeda cai, and tune. I'm looking to run closer to 11s. My best was 12.4 at 115. What would help me get there, longtubes or lca, adjustable uca and springs?

What tires? Whats your 60? I'd say LCA + UCA, and some drag radials.

Cheap version? 47lb fuel injectors, Lund or AED E85 tune and lower control arms.

Or drag radials, Strange/Lakewood shocks and lower control arms.

285s street tires but they actually hook pretty good. Click image for larger version

Mustang32Bill,

Rather than pull your existing midpipe and purchase a set of LT's and an O/R shorty I would personally recommend overhauling your suspension. I'm running the SR Lower Control Arms on my Bullitt and noticed from day one how much better traction I have whether I'm ripping up the country side or hitting the track.

Lowering the car with a set of springs not only will make your GT look and handle better but it's going to accelerate and brake that much more efficiently as you're lowering the center of gravity.

Something else to look into would be a Panhard Bar This is not only going to work hand in hand with the corresponding suspension mods to give you the best traction possible, but it's also going to center your axle.

BadCon's definitely onto something here as well. Picking up a set of wheels and Drag Radials just to throw in the trunk for when you're heading to the track would absolutely help get you off the line that much faster as well.

Hope this helps!

-Alex

Auto? Manual? Way to much missing information. But an upper control arm and mount is a must.

There's nothing wrong with Auto, you've probably read messages of AHoles boasting about how they drive stick. Woo hoo amazing!!!!! NOT. I have owned sticks, can drive pretty much anything, any Gearing, However, I have Not driven an 18 Gear Truck, but besides that everything else. And now I drive a Automatic and very happy about it, slow traffic is nothing but a brief annoyance. I have changed my Gears on my Stang to 4.10s.

Then the best thing you can do is a converter. You'll drop a half second with one as long as you get a good tune to go with it. Do NOT change the gears.
