Is it a GT Premium? Options? I see FP8 Appearance package at the least.

Its not the premium. It has the appearance package. Just cloth seats and what not. I figured i would rather have a brand new base model then a used premium

Nice looking car . You got a really good price. I just got my 2014 5.0 base with track pack and paid 29,700 and felt pretty good about the price.

Wow, not sure Bro. Are those all highway miles? Might need a rebuild soon.

Hell YES a good deal! The base GT is over 31K with a manual...not sure how you picked it up so cheaply.

I paid 28K for a 13 auto with 13k miles on it. There must be some desperate car dealers out there because there isnt a Ford dealer within 100 miles of Phoenix that had a new GT under 30k!

3 weeks ago I purchased a new base Brembo GT with tech package for 27700 out the door. Total ford rebates were $4500, much better than late last year!

Pricing threads are always skewed, because half the time people don't list the tt&l, any extra options, extended warranty costs, what they had to buy their significant other in order to prevent divorce and child support, heartache, etc.

Ha....that last part couldn't by any truer. To get my GT, I ended up having to buy my wife some new floor mats for her MINI (at inflated prices) and some other chrome, shiny crap.

Taxes, fees and other assorted concocted costs ended up costing me over 2 grand in the end. Speed has a price!

Ever tried working it off in the bedroom, on the sofa, on the dinning room table, or maybe even in the backseat of your new car?

I'm sure that's a better deal for your wife than some floor mats lol

Been married 16 years...so the new furniture will fall apart before it gets "broken in" !

I must look for the comfort of strangers....for a small fee and a time limit

Why is the base model the hotrod version? Less **** to worry about or is there something else? I'm not trying to be funny or anything, I just don't know a ton about the 2011+ except that I would like to start looking at them in the relative near future if I get rid of my 98.

Gotcha. I'll google around to learn more. I'm guessing its brakes and interior stuffs and that glass roof cant' be light either on some of those cars.

If you want a track mustang. Get a base GT with (obviously) the track package, but probably just that option.

You have entered the "dusting zone" as in feeding other drivers a healthy dose of airborne dirt!

OK, where did you get the flaming bone mustang emblem? DIY or bought? I want one!

congrats on joining the modular mustang life. lol. screw the price. as long as you are happy with it, it doesn't matter what other people paid or who got the best deal. It's all you. Enjoy. I will never go back to a German car. First american car and no regrets. Simply amazing what these cars can do.

Yes i absolutely love this car. I traded in my highly modded 03 gt that was vortech supercharged n had 32k miles on it for this 2014 and i gotta say i love this car much more especially being a DD. These coyotes are very impressive as well. I cant wait to start modding!

If you already have the track package (wish my 2013 GT did), then dont waste time modding internals past a really good tune, rear LCAs and a decent axle back (the stock GT500s are nice!). Everything else is a total waste of $$$ for minimal perf gains. Why start stripping perfectly good parts off a brand new car? These arent the GTs of old. Ive owned 3 GTs and 1 V6...so have plenty of experience.

I can see maybe a 1 piece drive shaft as beneficial...I have one. Its not necessary... however with your steeper 3.73 gears, would help with launch and drive-ability.

Use that mod money on the leather seats, exterior, nice rims, striping....etc. The last thing I wanted personally is a muscle car that looks cookie cutter on the outside...aka mom taxi.

Mustangs are a blast to mod to your own personal tastes!

Exactly, so if one wants to spend money for "minimal" gains, as you put it, let them, their car, and money.

Yeah I would say not a good deal, picked up a 14 gt premium for about 6.5k off sticker 3 month ago, now that the 15 are announced thought they would be slashing prices

Good entire catback is way more beneficial than just axlebacks. 1 piece driveshaft is completely necessary if you are going to do any sort of performance driving where you are going to be trapping at the speeds these cars are capable of trapping. Unless you like your 2 piece shaft to snap and catapult you *** over heels when the broken piece catches on the pavement.

Mod money on leather seats and rims and stripes... lmfao...
