Help! with title issues

Hey everyone this is sort of mustang related, but I got a new car with an "open title" but I don't think it was filled out right. I need help with what I should do to get it titled in my name. this is what I got. it may be hard to read the names so ill use easy ones. lol. Bob the original owner (title is in bobs name now) sold the bike to john, they filled out the top portion of the title correctly then john sold the bike to fred and fred wrote his name in the "first re assignment by licensed dealer space" and I just got it from fred. I am clueless on what I need to do. I would greatly appreciate some help!!!!

Best to just head to the local dmv and ask them when u register it.
Looks like it was sold(traded) in April. U may pay a fee for not registering it within a certain time frame...I believe it is 3 days in FL btw. After 30 days, it is a large fee. Also need a date and selling price on there. And hope that the guy u purchased it from is a state certified dealer. U may be facing a few hefty fines.

I just bought a car that had something very similar going on with the title. I just went down to the DMV and they knew exactly how to handle it. Apparently, it's very common for a vehicle to go through several owners before the paperwork ends up at the DMV.
As long as everything is legit, you shouldn't have a problem.
