2014 Mustang GT Engine Check Light On

Hello All,
Engine check light came on yesterday during my regular commute from work to home. I went to Advance Auto Parts to get a read on the code and the guy told me its due to Incorrect Air/Fuel Ratio.
I do not know why this issue came up suddenly.
I have upgraded Flowmaster oultlaw Axle back. Will my warranty cover the fix for A/F ratio issue with my Flowmaster AB on the car?

Any suggestion is appreciated!!
Note: I went through the forum to find similar issues, but I could not find A/F ratio issue.

2014 GT w/ Flowmaster AB

Is the axle back the only thing done to the car? No tune or anything?

I did not feel anything noticeable, it drove the same way.

I did not drive much after it came on, probably 10-15 miles.

It could be a few things. All the way as simple as a exhaust leak. Best bet is to bring it to the dealer. The stock tunes are known to run lean also.

Thanks, thats the only thing I can think of too. But the only question that I have would be - Will the axle back cause any issues (warranty) since it is related to A/F ratio? (Would there be a chance of dealer not looking at it under warranty)

I wonder if anyone else had similar issue/experience.

If not an Exhaust Leak I would bet it's a faulty 02 sensor. Just cause the car is new doesn't mean the part isn't defective. When they told you it was the air/fuel ratio ...did they tell you in what bank? If you have the code look it up & see what bank it's in & change that sensor. The code will tell you Bank #1,2,3 or 4. But since it's under warranty you may as well take it to the dealership if it's not to far & you have the time to wait for it.

Oh...It could also be a Dirty MAF Sensor. There's a small wire between 2 prongs (like in a light bulb) & when it gets dirty it will also throw that code. I clean mine by soaking the wires only in paint thinner over night & then clean it off gently with a Q-Tip & Rubbing Alcohol. Re-install & good as new. Don't worry...Paint thinner doesn't melt plastic.

Thanks! I think I should take it to the dealer. And I know my whole day will probably be gone there

And hope won't have to deal with any warranty conditions, etc...
