Well there's my time slip from the track at Santa Clara RD raceway 30 mins away from San Antonio. Ran this at like 11PM was pretty tired of Truck & Test and Tune night. He said run below 13.9 and you need a helmet/say can't run anymore. First run 13.9 😭😭. So is the time decent for a stock '13 premium GT? Haha any of your time slips are appreciated so I can see what I need to work on. I did not burn out or anything just launched at like 4K rpms.. Thnks -Man.Transm. -

Yes it's pretty slow even for a stock 2010 GT

Even with a slow reaction time and launch your GT should see at least a 13.3-13.4

Horrible 60ft time. But pretty decent for your first time out. People underestimate how hard drag racing is. Especially when you're doing it in a 420hp rwd skinny street tire car. Some people spend a lifetime perfecting their 60ft. Get that 60ft down to a 1.6-1.7 and you have a solid mid-low 12 second car.

Just for the record reaction time has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on ET. Timing doesn't start until you leave. You can have a 3 minute reaction time and still run a 12.

You're right about the RT. I stand corrected.

No worries. It's a common misconception. Reaction time still plays a huge roll in heads up racing and bracket racing so it's still important to work on. Just doesn't count towards or against your ET, so I always tell noobs to ignore that first line and worry about the next one. lol
