Automatic 2013 vs manual 2013 gt

What's so great about a manual car?

If you have to ask then you should get an auto lol

For tracking the car (not drag strip) its preferable to most autos out there unless you're talking about the Porsche PDK or the likes because you can select the gear going into a turn. With autos you get into gear only when you hit the gas pedal and then it will have a slight momentary delay in shifting.

Buy the manual, rag the crap out of it, then we you get bored with it blow the manual up and swap to a auto.

+1 haha

If you've never learned how to drive a manual or at least driven in one, go do that first. They're a hell of a lot more fun, most of the time.

Except in heavy traffic lol. I learned driving manual on my current '12 GT. Was a little overwhelming at first but in less than a day I was competent enough to drive home

I've had both m6 and a6 mustangs and I loved driving my m6. Unfortunately I broke my ankle really bad and it won't ever be the same anymore so I had to get rid of my manual for my automatic. The manual is way more fun. But I'm pleased with the autos in my 2014 especially with a tuner on the car

Think about it this way , an auto is like an easy date in the sack , met her, lite inexpensive dinner, one drink and in the sack in less than 3 hrs. A manual tranny is like a date that demanded a fancy plate , few top shelve drinks and no sack time till the 4th date.

I vote for the easy date in the sack. Way too much work for the fancy plate, top shelve drinks and no sack until the fourth date. Oh heck no. Ha ha ha ha

To summarize it:

Manuals: all things being equal manual cars are faster, some consider them more fun to drive

Autos: more consistent at the track because it takes alot of the driver error out of the equation, add a stall and make the fun factor more fun as well.

But honestly autos have come a long way in recent times so there not as many downfalls as year ago. So its not a question of which is better its a question of which do you prefer and which works better for your needs.

I might be wrong but judging by the build and price at ford.com, manual is stock and auto is custom, so it costs more to get an auto.

So... as easy as it is to get the auto into the sack would you also be more likely to contract something like gonorrhea such as in sacking an easy day? In that case go with the manual you'll be healthier lol

The auto is like having two woman at the same time in the sack and just get some penicillin and you will be good to go. Or just duct tape your sack. Ha ha ha

Let me rephrase my easy or not sack activity , the auto gear box is like a brothel visit, in and out with no foreplay. The manual gear box is more like a prolonged foreplay , more pleasure , more time to enjoy

If you like to corner at the limit or drive on a racetrack get a stick. If you do not corner at the limit, want to drag race, or like a more consistent car get the Automatic. My Mustang is an Auto and I wouldn't have it any other way, my 350z is a stick and I wouldn't have it any other way. I say get the Automatic, they are great performers these days.

I've had both auto and manual if your drag racing auto is the way to IMO if it's built but you can get a circle d 3600 stall like mine and tear that manuals butt up

Standard helps you connect with the car. YOU controlling the car comes with some responsibility- you have to control the car!

It becomes second nature, but the auto decides what gear it should be in, because it knows best. F that, I know what's best, and I choose. You can't program an auto to do what you're thinking. Even with paddle shifters, they do what they want. If you want to cruise and have a fun ride, then auto. If you want to be one with the car, and completely control it- it's all you. No judgment either way, with great power comes great responsibility lol
