Roush Instrument Cluster Swap

Hey folks, sorry if Im in the wrong section but I noticed there is more activity here than the other sections.

I have a "plane" 2010 Mustang GT with a 4 gauge cluster ( ) that I have always wanted to swap. After many months of searching, I was able to find a Roush 6 gauge Instrument Cluster on ebay. I received the Roush Cluster and swap it just to make sure it worked. Fortunately everything worked as it should, even the 2 extra gauges worked with my stock harness.

Now Im going to take my car to a Ford Dealer to get the Roush Cluster "synced" to make it work with my car and make sure it displays the correct mileage. Eveything so far is going fine but I realized that since my car is a "plane jane" I don't have the 3 extra buttons that are underneath the the Headlight switch / dimmer that let you reset the trip miles / oil change service message. Even if I buy a new headlight switch with the 3 extra buttons, I don't have the cable that connects to it, or at least I didn't see it when I was moving things around.

I do know that those 3 buttons are also found on the steering wheel but my old steering wheel is the basic one with only the cruise control buttons. My new steering wheel came off a 2013 mustang GT but in has the radio & phone buttons on the right side and the track app & cruise control buttons on the left. When I installed this new steering wheel a couple of years back, none of the buttons worked. Not even the Volume buttons for the radio but honestly, I really didn't care since I have an aftermarket radio.

Would it work if I buy the button set for the steering wheel that let you control the messages on the cluster gauge, would it be just a plug n play or would I have to rewire any cables? I'm hoping I have the connection for the new Headlight switch since I do have an extra plug underneath my center console but I think that's for the lighted cup holder tray.
