MagnaFlow off road x is the best one as far as quality and sound. But paired with a muffler delete and the car sounds like complete crap

On3 Performance O/R Xpipe. Stock mid pipe. Flowmaster 44 axlebacks with Roush square tips. Loud, a little rasp but not much. Had the Roush axlebacks and it was too raspy. Absolutely love it now.

Roush sounds great with stock cats on. If u put hi flows or cat deletes Roush becomes Rasp with either H or X

Roush + cat delete = sounds like a $$ holes. Sold those mufflers. Running stock mufflers right now, still rowdy when you step on it.

My buddy heard my set up and said that the rasp note gives out the impression that something is loose in the muffler.. I kind of agree with that. Im running flowmaster mufflers with the upr o/r x pipe, love the combo as far as the loud factor goes.. But when i really step on it that rasp is ugly. Really thinking of the o/r h pipe now but i need to be certain that there will be no rasp

Thanks man!

I have the 3" catback by Flowmaster. That system comes with an Hpipe. I have the jbl or bbk cat delete pipes. Can't remember which brand.

Talked to my muffler guy today he heard the car and said that puting back the resonators would kill a bit of the rasp. Any thoughts on this?

M80's should do the trick, that's the best set up if you go with x pipe ...

It's a mid muffler system you install after your mid pipe and just before your axel backs. It will still be loud but not as raspy and uncontrolled.

The have different styles ofcourse but to me these give any v6 or GT a nice deep clear and direct growl

Great sound. I'm looking at a similar setup here soon but I'm on the fence on how loud the exhaust is during acceleration.

Could you post more videos of your sweet exhaust? preferably while driving (in or out of the car).

Thanks

Ok I'll do that. I'll get a friend to film it on a flyby but it'll have to be Sunday or Monday before I can do it

The real question is, is the off road setup worth the change in sound for the power you gain? ive been tossing around the addition of an O/R pipe but i love my exhaust note right now. What are the gains like 15-18HP going to a O/R pipe?
