clutch upgrade

i'm getting a heavy clutch pedal and 2nd gear lockout @ high rpm's. 2013 boss vmp supercharged. I'm looking @ the exedy 500 stage 3 single disc,I know to upgrade the clutch line to a braided one, upgrade the throwout bearing [slave cylander] and the kit comes with the pilot bearing. My question is do I need to upgrade the flywheel too? That is almost $400 , do you think that is nessasary? AM says yes I should but that's just a sales rep. that addmitted to just guessing. Anybody with good knowledge have any recommendations?

If your dnt wanna replace the flywheel atleast get it refinished so you have a clean almost new surface for the clutch to grab onto and in the exidy warranty it says you need to replace or refinish the flywheel or your warranty is gonna be voided.
