Koni shocks for sale anywhere?

Like the title states, I'm looking for 05-14 koni str.t shocks for sale. I ordered them from CJ pony parts 3 friggin weeks ago. Finally got something from a rep saying they won't be distributed, from Koni, until mid September! What the hell happened to cause that flub up? Anywho, anyone know a site that's currently stocking them? I'm about to cancel my order.

NOPE. I checked a number of sites, like a dozen. September for any. That said I did some more research and comparisons for the Eibach Pro-damper and found allot of people said they were stiffer which for me was more what I was looking for so I ordered those yesterday.

Yeah I already have my entire suspension in minus the rear shocks. Koni's all around obviously. Guess I'm screwed. It makes you wonder though, what the hell happened with the supply not meeting the demand.

Stiffer isn't better however, Pro-dampers are much softer and have a hard time supporting their own springs. I've brought that up a few times and tested them myself.

Koni had a big sale in June. I was able to get all four corners for a 2000 Mustang from AM with only a slight delay, but the rear shocks for my 2013 have been on back order for 4-5 weeks.

Yeah, it really stinks. Everywhere is mid September. Has anyone mix and matched their strut/shock combo with success? Is that even a common thing or should I just wait?

Like tires, I have never felt comfortable with having different front and rear shocks. It happens, and for the experts, may have advantages if you know enough about how it would affect handling. There are just to many variables to know what is the best combo for a daily driver, but we try anyway.

Good points. I was just wondering if it was common practice. I suppose I'll wait.

I happen to have the whole set of Koni STR orange still unopened in the box. Think I'm going a different route. If anyone is interested in them pm me.

Would you be willing to seperate the shocks from the struts?

Not sure man, but I have those lol. They're in ready for the rears. I had put them in, in anticipation of getting the rears soon, and then came word of the national back order.

I just bought the Sports last week, just call them up and ask them.

I just checked AM too, they have them on sale, and they are listed as in stock.

I emailed them that same question and haven't heard anything back. That was Monday. I'll be curious to see if they do because I'll order right away.
