Fuel Addictive and Fuel Octane Question

So I did something stupid, I guess.
I have a 2014 Mustang GT and it has one of the gas caps were there is no gas cap. You just open lid and insert nozzle.

1. I tried adding a fuel additive to help maintain/clean my gas system. I poured a little in and it went down. Poured a little more, still went down. When I was finished - all of the fuel additive was on the ground under my car. How are you suppose to add a fuel additive to cars with these different fuel safety things?

2. Is it bad to go from 87 Octane to 93? I'm sure it is bad to keep switching back and forth but is there anything I need to do to start using fuel with a higher Octane?

Pop your trunk. There is little white funnel held in the Styrofoam. Bring some paper towels where you go, clean the gas/whatever off before you put it back in your car.

No, it's not bad to go from 87 to 93. You can also switch between the two. Our cars can advance/****** the timing to account for the octane differences. It's once you tune the car that you need to use the octane that it is tuned for.

Hey I just noticed the title to this thread. Yep, the gas pedal is addictive, so yeah, fuel becomes addictive too.

Lol

It is important in case you run out of gas. Normal gas cans don't work right. I tried once and it was weird, so I used the funnel and it was smooth as can be. At least they GIVE you the funnel- if we had Porsches it would be a $250 option

The funnel is mounted to a small board in your spare tire well on top of the spare.
