Short throw shifter

Is there much of a performance difference between the two post and a regular shift bracket. I wanna know if its worth the extra $50

This past Sunday I installed the Barton shifter with two post bracket. Personally I think this is a huge difference and deff worth the extra money. The stock bracket is very cheap looking and has very thin walls with a big rubber gasket or whatever it's called. Plus it only takes an extra 15 min to install.

Well I'm definitely getting a bracket I just don't know whether to get the two post or the regular bracket.

I first did the poly Energy Suspension bushing in the oem bracket first, the improvement was HUGE at 80%. Then I did the Barton 2 post, it was another 10% better, maybe. The Barton is a work of art tho. Too bad it is hidden. A poly bushing comes with the Hurst billet plus. I could have saved a hundred bucks if I would have done the shifter and bushing first and called it good. But, you don't know until you try them, I say....

So you think it's worth it to get the two post vs a regular bracket then

The harder bushing from Energy suspensions for the oem 'bracket' is almost as good as the two post was for me. I did not feel much of a difference between the two back to back using the stock shifter. Mine is a street car, I am not racing. For regular use the $17 bushing is a dang good bargain. If a guy has an extra hundred to spend on the two post, why not?... In hind site I should have stuck with the bushing in the oem bracket that comes with the Hurst Billet shifter, which looks identical to the Energy bushing.
