Maybe we have a garage queen because we got it like that and have other cars and trucks. Why put miles on a weekend warrior if you don't have too.

I doubt these cars are going to depreciate much. Garage kept Termis are going up in value but still going to be a loooong time before someone who bought one new makes their money back and then there is the time investment. I keep the miles off my 98 even just because I have other vehicles to drive if its crappy out. I do drive it whenever its nice out though because, why drive a beater when you can enjoy a sports car on the way to work?

Lol. Mustangs depreciate like crazy! The only ones that hold value are the limited production ones like the Boss or Cobra.

I think the Coyote is going to buck that trend a bit, at least for a while due to its 4 year production run in this body.

For me, I went in purchasing this vehicle with the intention of keeping it as a toy for my days off work. I also intend to keep it for many many years to come like my dad has done with his 98 cobra.

I'm at ~7600 miles on my '13.... But it started ticking at ~3000 -__- well see how long it lasts if stealership won't fix it.

The thing is with the 03-04 cobras they were limited numbers produced and it was only 2 years. Even with that very few people are going to pay 25 k for a used cobra when you can get a 420 hp GT new for 27-30 k. With the GTs being mass produced as well as the new GTs having the same engines the s197s are going to depreciate just like any other car.

Yup, anyone else have a higher mileage coyote with the "ticking?" I have 2,200 on my 14 now, been ticking since around 1,500 miles.

Almost 1900 miles. Bought the car with 500 mile used out of KS. Motor starting to loosen up for sure. Engine is quiet as a mouse. The ticking sound from what I have heard is loose cam chain tensioners. MMR sells upgraded replacements. Seems to be relatively easy fix. fyi

I have 10K, had it since August 23 2013. No ticking, at least that I can notice.

And I have to fill it up for the third time already next week. Right around the 600 mile mark. Not that I'm complaining. They have been a badass ~600 miles.
