Bama tune and airaid CAI problems..

Hi guys i have a 2014 gt, i installed the CAI AIRAID and the 93 race tune, apperently sometimes when o start the car it turns off and im driving it lags down untill it turns off and ahows a wrench light up in the revs,....

What could this be? Its been raining lately, could it be moisture getting in through the hood venta and falling on the filter??? I am frustuated with this, i taped down the hood vent on the bottom with electric tape so that the water would not drip.

i went to bed and when i woke up i attempted starting the car with same issues, it runs and after a few feet it turns off....... Please someone help me.

Make sure they programmed the CAI into your tune.

Yes the custok tube has the airaid cai on it, im thinking that maybee os the moisture coming down from the vent or water because when i checked the cone it was humid and wet onside, and the filter i have is no oil filter, im not sure maybee it is that i pluged in the MAF backwards.... That could be it

No the filter can be damp with water and rain can even splash thru the vent onto the filter and it'll run fine. I have driven thru cats and dogs and practically monsoon torrential downpour with it and no problem.

I have BAMA 93R and the AirAid also.
Put the Venturi tube in and return the tune to stock. You don't need a tune if you use the tube.

Then contact BAMA. Call them don't email.

And how come you started two threads? Lol

My 2010 gt did this after a dealer replaced my pressure
Plate. The vacuum line was disconnected for some odd reason.

I honestly can't remember. It's been 4 years ago. I just remember they said the vacuum line was disconnected. Because when I took the car home, every stop light I'd stop at, the car would die and is have to restart it and either hold a steady rpm or just keep tapping the gas. It wouldn't idle on its own until they reconnected it.
