The Best Part About Your 5.0

Just wanted to start a thread to let everyone show off the best part about their GT. Any visuals, performance mods, or factory features. Lets hear what makes yours unique.

I personally love the BBK CAI I put in under the hood. Regardless of the power gains, the chrome finish gives it that "under the hood" game it needs to stand out at meets and shows. It has a soft whistling noise under acceleration that makes everyone think its forced induction.

Visually, the grille and Roush splitter kit.

Mechanically would have to be all the BMR suspension work.

I like how the 2013-2014 blends the looks of 1970 and 1971 Mach 1 fastbacks together.

Nope. Parents said don't even worry about it, so we took to to the dealer with it on. Still passed.

Can't figure out how to get the link onto the phone app. It's the coyote brake light tint from AM. It fit great, we fixed the gap in the picture. Just needed a slight adjustment.

Man I like the way the dark wheels and exhaust look with your paint. I think those are one of the best wheels out. I plan on getting the dark grey ones in the future.

Can you buy those recaro seats aftermarket somewhere? And if so, are they a direct bolt in?

If you have $$$$. They are 3k and you can't get the leather ones that I know of. Even with a discount they are still 3x the cost from the factory. That's ridiculous.

I love the car period. Wish I had recaros though.

You can buy any recaros but they're going to cost you a pretty penny. And even as a factory option they're around 1500$

And I think it's safe to assume you'd need matching brackets although I could be wrong. I loved these seats so much I chose them over the brembos lol.

Aftermarket Recaro seats are ridiculously expensive, and I've only seen them in cloth.

They come in leather. A word much stronger than ridiculous comes to mind though when it comes to price lol...

Which is exactly the reason I opted for them because I can get the brembos for about 1100$ which was much cheaper then them added on when I was building the car at ford.

I know they come in leather from the Factory, I have them.

I've only seen cloth ones in the aftermarket though.

I agree about a word much stronger than ridiculous, can't say it on here though.

You can get the rotors/pads/calipers/lines/dust shields for about 1100$. That's the route I plan on going. I don't remember what they were from the factory, around 2k I believe? I'll put them on myself and save a ton of money, by switching to geico

This is an awesome thread. I like nearly every thing about the car but the best part is the engine which is light years ahead of my old 302. I'm really looking forward to adding a supercharger once I get it paid off.

Best part? The way that wide *** comes sliding out a bit during a WOT shift from 2nd to 3rd, and the good loud *chirp* I get going into 4th. ****ty stock tires are probably helping that a bit.

Also, the sound of a coyote at full song. Bonus points for having a decent exhaust setup installed. The 5.0 is one of the most unique sounding V8s I've ever heard.

Proper suspension and tires you won't have that.
