Whining from rear end

Just recently lowered my car, I used steeda ultra lites, LCA, adjustable UCA, LCA relocation brackets, UCA mount, adjustable panhard bar, koni adjustable shocks. Today on the freeway I heard a whining noise and noticed when I speed up it gets faster and louder. I have stock gears 3:55. Any help is appreciated.

What upper control arm and what did you set the pinion angle to?

I lowered mine 1.5" but as suggested by the performance shop I used Adj LCA's and relo brackets along with Adj panhard bar did not use a aftermarket UCA or even touch it and have not had any issues set at 2.7 wheel hop is also completely gone after everything was done.

Anything over -2 is pushing it for a street 3 link car. That's a lot of strain on an already known problem area on 8.8s: the pinion seal.

The transmission of noise to the cabin is a part of stiffening up the rear suspension bushes and having a control arm attached to the actual pumpkin itself. It's part of the reason I went with the rubber Roush piece, especially since I'm not lowering. Putting poly LCAs did induce some extra noise but, it's very mild and only in a narrow speed range.

When you replace all of that soft forgiving rubber with some MUCH stiffer performance type components, you are going to hear a lot more of your driveline than you did before. The "racier" you get the louder you get It will give you more "feel" which is rougher and louder. Your UCA is probably where you are picking up more sound in your cabin than all the other parts for sure. You will get used to it. It is new to you now, so you notice it.
