Smile Dual stripes and more?

Hello all,

{Note: This is my first post as I just bought a new black 2014 Mustang GT.
If this is already posted I can not find it....}

I have always loved the look of a black pony car with dual racing stripes. I plan on putting dual white racing stripes put on from this website/store....

https://www.bigwormgraphix.net/Musta...pe-2013-14.htm

Along with rocker stripes from the ford custom graphics store (The ones entitled "Mustang Pony Stripe" under side graphics)...

Configurator - Ford Custom Graphics

My question to everyone is does anyone have dual hood stripes, rocker stripes and other graphics on their car, or is it too much in your opinion? I am wondering about, (along with the rocker stripes and the dual hood stripes), should I put "hood spears" or "Saleen Style Hash Stripes" on as well.

If you have dual stripes and other graphics on your car I would love for you to post a pic!

Thanks in advance.

Explanation of attached pictures:

1st pic is my 2014 GT as it is now, (please forgive the Chevy in the background, its not mine!)

2nd and 3rd pic's are the stripes I'm looking to get, I love the pinstripes!

4th pic: I may go with a lime green instead of white for everything as this GT500 looks beautiful!

Other questions I have include:

1. How long do the stripes last?, I believe I saw about 6-7 years for most. I live in Northeast Ohio and as my mustang GT is currently my daily driver, the car/stripes will eventually see snow. (I hope not for long, but there may be no way around it for me.)

2. Has anyone ordered from "Big Worm Graphix" ? Are they good quality stripes?

3. What is a good price for install? The website says $150 for the dual stripes alone, is this reasonable?

Thanks!

Looks good. Pretty sure that's the first black with orange stripes 'stang I've seen!

I was more looking for anyone having both Dual stripes and "hood spears" / other graphics.

I just found this pic to kind of illustrate my thought:

(Basically 2 wide dual stripes and 2 hood accent stripes. But all the way down instead of only half way, and hopefully on a '13 or '14)

I have stripes down the middle and rocker stripes. You can check them out from different angles in my garage.

Also, when looking at stripes for your black car, don't forget about taking a look at Grabber Blue stripes. I think they look great on a black car.

I had mine done by BigWorm themselves here in Fort Worth. I had black factory rocker stripes and had them remove those. My cost installed including the stripes was $380.00. I had it done to both of my cars. They are 3M products and seem to be very good quality.

GrabberMeBlue :

That looks beautiful. Before I bought mine that was my first choice in color combos (grabber blue with black stripes). I actually just graduated college and am currently an engineer at Ford, so I am just now being able to afford a new mustang. In my searching over the past few months I was picky in wanting a 2014 GT or GT premium, of which I only found 1 Grabber Blue left in Georgia, (I'm in northeast OH), of which was sold before I could make a deal with them.... Ford discontinued the color in Oct 2013, so there probably weren't many made to begin with

Getting back on topic... I agree that blue stripes look great on a black car, (my close friends all say I should go with blue as well), in fact blue is just behind white and lime green for me. Unfortunately for me, I can not locate a graphics shop near me who I can go to and ask for the color sample.

Maybe its just me but here are two pics, both black with blue that look different. Personally I like the little bit darker blue stripes on the first pic as opposed to the lighter ones on the second. (It may just be the light, but I thinks its actually a different blue.)

Looks good. The three different colors really compliment each other nicely. That gives me some more to think about, but I'm not sure what 2 colors would go together well on a black car... Thoughts anyone? Or should I just stick with all one color like I was originally thinking... ?

Just make sure the stripes are Grabber Blue, not just some sort of blue. As far as these two colors looking different, I will say that depending on light conditions, Grabber Blue can be dark or light.

To each their own but I'm old school and the only color stripes I think look right on a black car are gold like the old Shelbys.

I'm having grabber blue stripes painted on my car in the next few months. I think it looks great on black cars and you never see anybody with that combo.
